I am quite impressed by the sound produced by this cello, given that its new. Its dark and chocolate-ly with good depth. The setup of the cello is great and the neck feels good when played through an asian hand. It has a rich brown varnish and if I am not mistaken, its of a Goffriller model. Unfortunately, its not sold at a basement bargain but at a hefty 4 figure price tag. But given that most cellos in Singapore, especially those of certain quality are heavily marked up. This is a solid cello for its price and should only develop in time.
